In 2009 Robert Gauld took delivery of his very first Land Rover Defender 130 double cab with Azalai conversion and soon followed a unique 4×4 camper hire service called Highland Expedition Hire. Roberts vision was to supply a fleet of off road vehicles available to hire with camper van facilities. Each vehicle must be capable of tackling the most severe 4×4 terrains with the benefit of being able to park up at night and have all the usual home from home luxuries like cooker, shower, toilet, double bed that you might expect from a camper van.
Highland Expedition’s aim is to provide you with a 4×4 holiday with a difference. A truly unique experience. As well as supplying you with the vehicle we can also arrange:
- Pickup and drop off to airports/train stations
- Accommodation for the duration of your stay
- Maps and routes for you to follow
- Additional extras such as: bike rack, trailer and child car seats
- We’ll even supply a tour guide and driver if you wish!
